Resumen:
A new high spectral resolution lidar was developed and become operational on 11 November 2015 in Villa Martelli at CEILAP, UNIDEF (CITEDEF-CONICET). The system is able to measure elastic signals from 355 nm, 532 nm and 1064 nm as well as Nitrogen and Water Vapor Raman returns and 532 nm High Spectral Resolution channel at which the aerosol backscatter signature is blocked by an Iodine molecular filter. Some daytime observations are presented showing aerosol and cloud cases over Villa Martelli showing the immediate improvement of the observations at this site because of this lidar upgrade.
