Resumen:
In this paper we made an algorithm resolution evaluation of the DIAL system to retrieve ozone profiles. The instrument is deployed in Atmospheric Observatory of Austral Patagonia, CEILAP-UNIDEF (MINDEF-CONICET), UMI-IFAECI-CNRS, Río Gallegos, Argentina (OAPA). The DIAL system was installed since 2005 and joined to Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change (NDACC) in December 2008. In this work we compared the DIAL ozone profile between 12 to 32 km with an Electrochemical Cell (ECC) ozone profile from a sonde launched in March 2011 as part of intercomparison campaign. In-situ ozonesonde measurements are smoothed with a similar parabolic filter than the DIAL algorithm. The vertical resolutions of the DIAL inversion algorithm are changed to study the behavior of the ozone profiles retrieved. The relative difference between both measurements is evaluated. For this particular case, the DIAL ozone profile retrieved with the resolution used in the algorithm of OAPA reach relative difference above 20% with respect the ozone sounding profile.
