Resumen:
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a well-known psychological theory of human personality. In this paper, we propose to build a user profile to automatically detect the Sensing/Intuition dichotomy of the MBTI model. Particularly, our approach detects the personality characteristic of a user by analyzing how he/she interacts with puzzle games. Fordoing so, we define and train a Bayesian Network, which models different aspects of the interaction with the game, to infer the user’s Sensing-Intuition dichotomy. Experimental results have demonstrated that it is possible to obtain a high precision in this detection by using this type of games. We conclude that games are a promising environment in which the users’ personality characteristics can be detected.
