Introduction: Prostate cancer (PCa) is a progressive disease involving multiple gene alterations; however, little isknown at the proteome level. Most of the functional information of the cancer-associated genes relies in theproteome, a complex biological system with dynamic interactions. We carried out an in-depth proteomicsanalysis to identify differential protein complexes associated with PCa.Methods: PCa and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) samples were obtained from the Hospital de Clínicas ?Joséde San Martín? (with written informed consent and institutional review board approval). Samples were subjectedto mass spectrometry analysis (ESI-MS/MS).
