Resumen:
The synthesis of coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPION) has been intensively pursued because of possibilities for magnetic delivery into specific targets in biological systems.1 2. For biomedical applications, it is essential to develop stable SPIONs, with reversible magnetic properties. Additionally, previous incorporation of SPIUONs into biocompatible polymers is a pre-requisite for its consequent incorporation into cells, etc. The aim of this work is to develop non citotoxic materials from magnetite nanoparticles, incorporated to biocompatible polymers like chitosan and Eudragit E PO (EPO).
