Decidualization process involves phenotype and functional changes on endometrial cells and the modulation of different mediators such as cytokines, chemokines and the selective recruitment of immune cells. Particularlly, the vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a neuropeptide produced by endometrial stromal cells that displays multiple target circuits allowing immunetolerance. To investigate VIP contribution to the decidualization program, we used an in vitro implantation model based in the co-culture of blastocyst-like spheroids (BLS) from trophoblast cells cultured on Human endometrial stromal cell line monolayer (HESC) decidualized with or with medroxiprogesterone and dbcAMP (+control). Decidualization increased VIP expression and secretion on HESC cells (p
