It has long been reported the presence of larfe pleochn~ic apatite crystal in various igneous environments. Here we addresh those appearing at sc~eral Oligocene to Miocene bimodal volcanic complexes of the Solnun Curi Magmatic Province, Northern Patagonia, Argentina. This nragrnatism initiates with an oli~ineb asaltic pl~ireorrs tapc. tollowed by a posl-plorrci~i phase where alkaline to restricted subalkaline volcanic complexes and non no genetic episodes devclop.
