Comments on "What are concepts?"

I will develop the present commentary in two sections. The first one will be dedicated to the exposition of some methodological assumptions, and some of the most important theoretical decisions which structure the project developed in the book "The Philosophy of Animal Mind": the defense of the "impure conceptual analysis" and the main features of "the capacity approach". The other more specific one will be dedicated to comment on some points about the positive and critical analysis discussed mainly in chapter 6 of the book "What are concepts?" I will atempt to highlight the importance of this chapter for the whole project: from de point of view of its critical objective, by showing that "representationalism" can not give us a good explanation of concepts; and from the positive aim of exploring and evaluating different candidates notions to explain "concepts" on a cognitivist framework.
