Resumen:
The search for principles in theoretical physics has a long history. During the XX Century, both, special and general theories of relativity were constructed on some basic principles that articulate the concepts and the epistemological frameworks of them, with several important methodological consequences. Quantum physics was edified on different methodological assumptions. Even though there were basic epistemological constraints associated with the structure of the orthodox theory, the role of a basic principle in the style of those previous theories was not clear in it. A. Zeilinger, among others, took this challenge on foundations in close contact with the subject of interpretation and other epistemological issues. The purpose of this talk is to review this approach and put it in the context of some contemporary researches in philosophy of physics
