The Argentine population has an epidemiological profile with prevalence of chronic-degenerative diseases. As also noted in other countries, most of local researches indicate that patients spend most of the last year of life at home and that this is the place were they often choose to stay. Therefore, family caregiving has become an important issue of palliative care. The purpose of this study is to identify salient issues of caregiving for family members of palliative care patients.
