Resumen:
Recent new U/Pb age confirms the presence of an Upper Cretaceous-Paleocene magmatism in southern Mendoza Andes (35º30?S). New geochemical dataset inform in this work shows that Upper Cretaceous volcanism is characterized by subalkaline basalts and trachy-andesites that grade from a calc-alkaline magmatic source with slab influence, towards a more enriched magmatism with an alkaline signature, lesser slab-fluids contribution and lower melting degrees.
