Resumen:
Recently has been shown that fold and thrust belts developed both in Cordillera Principal and Cordillera Patagónica are polycyclic, exhibiting one neogene structuration phase and other previous between Late Cretaceous and Eocene. This work was made on Cordillera Principal, at 32°56? S, trough the Blanco river, to the nothwest of Mendoza province. It has been made a geological and structural survey on the area aiming the construction of a coherent structural profile. The belt on this sector consists in 4 thrust with north-south strike and west inclination, and 2 folds with east vergence. In the other hand an angular and erosional discordance has been identified between Upper and Lower Creataceous units, wich is a hint towards the hypothesis of cretaceous uplift at this latitude.
