Resumen:
The main aim of this work is to apply the Generalized Sturmain Function (GSF) method to the studyof the two-photon ionization of atoms. We present results obtained using a second order perturbation theory.The GSF used have the proper asymptotic behavior allowing us to extract the transition amplitudes from theobtained wave function.
