ABSTRACT: In this paper an expert system of fuzzy control (FLC), designed for tracking of the maximum power point in photovoltaics panel is developed. In view to the fact that an appropriate design of a FLC, allows to combine speed, precision and flexibility in the realized control, such system is widely used. In the paper, an analysis on the system photovoltaic-converter DC-DC, in order to obtain the input variables to be used in the control and the precise information to develop knowledge base is presented. The information obtained from technical trials to the photovoltaics panels, together to different simulations, allows to define in correct way the domain for the input sets. Such procedure, assure from the FLC the more adequate response to each stimulation. In the paper we present some measurements which show the response of the FLC system and allows to verify its correct operation. The final physic implementation of the proposed FLC, is performed through a microcontroller PIC 32 bits.
