Resumen:
We discuss the known generalisations of tilted and quasitilted algebras such us the left supported algebras, the laura algebras, the left and right glued algebras, the weakly shod algebras and the shod algebras. We present their characterisations and main properties, underlining the rol of the left part LA and the right part RA of the category of finitely generated modules over an artin algebra.
