Resumen:
Ozone and UV radiation climatologies, for eight stations located at different latitudes from tropical to sub-Antarctic regions, were analysed, at the present paper. Total ozone column was obtained from satellite measurements, provided by NASA and. irradiances were measured by multi-channel radiometers (GUV-511, Biospherical Instruments Inc.), which compose the IAI Radiation Network. The analysed irradiance channels were centered at 305 and 340 nm, being the first strongly dependent on ozone and the second independent of this parameter. Daily- integrated irradiance for monthly mean days were analysed, and the ratio UV-B/UV-A completed the analysis. In general, good agreement with latitudinal and altitudinal distribution was observed, for UV-B and ozone. UV-A radiation showed a more complex pattern. Anomalies for 305, 340 and total ozone column were analysed using auto and cross correlations. The results showed a larger persistence of total ozone column with time, at all sites. The relationship of the 305 nm band, with ozone and other factors, resulted highly dependent on latitude. Band centered at 340 nm showed considerably smaller persistence at all latitudes.
