Resumen:
Currently, atomic spectrometry is essential for the determination of elements at trace levelconcentration. Atomic emission spectrometry by inductively coupled plasma (ICP-AES) is an analytical method that permits to obtain detection limits low enough so as to trace level concentrations, In this method, the different techniques for introducing the sample to the ICP become critical. Ultrasonic nebufization system (USN) has proved to be an efficient method for introducing liquid samples in the plasma, exhibiting several advantages with respect to conventional pneumatic nebulization systems. In the present work we develop experiment that show the advantages a,np features of USN as well as the possibilities offered by this system when coupled to ICP-AES. Also, a comparative study for the determination of Fe, Co, and Mn in synthetic solution using both nebulization systems is presented.
