P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }A:link { }In this contribution we present the the design, characteristics, performance and results after 6 months of testing of the prototypeto monitoring the Photovoltaic system installed in one of the AMIGAstations, Los Piojos, as well as the first results for AMIGAreal consumption. Partof the study was devoted to characterize the operation of the entireAMIGA Photovoltaic system and understand charge and discharge cycles, the system behavior under different climatic conditions and todetermine its limitations (days of autonomy, times of charge /discharge, currents peaks and voltages). It was determined thatthe configuration of solar controllers in parallel is able to manage panels from different power and brand, and about the globalconsumption of AMIGA detector installed at Los Piojos SD, it resutshigher than the measured at the laboratory and results of about 45W.
