Resumen:
hepeanut(Arachishypogaea)iswidelyusedasasourceofproteinandoilandiscultivatedworldwideintropics,subtropicsandinwarmerareasoftemperateregions.Itisanallotetraploidspecies(2n=4x=40)ofrecentoriginwithanAABBgenomeconstitution.CytogeneticandmolecularevidencesuggeststhatA.duranensis(A-genome)andA.ipaensis(B-genome)arethewilddiploidspecies(2n=2x=20)mostlikelyinvolvedintheoriginofthecultigen.Todate,onlyoneaccessionofA.ipaensisK30076hasbeenfoundandisthereforeconsideredtobethedonoroftheBgenomeinpeanut.Incontrast,therearemanydifferentaccessionsofA.duranensisthatarepossibledonorsoftheAgenome.Inthiscontext,wepresentaNextGenerationSequencingapproachinordertoidentifytheA.duranensisaccessionmostcloselyrelatedtothatinvolvedinthepeanutorigin.
