Resumen:
Understanding Cellular processes in tumor progression and asymmetric cell division requieres biological models that replicate as close as possible the conditions found in living tissue. 3D cell culture technologies such as spheroids and organoids provide this model systems but create new methodological challenges to characterize their growth and internal structure. We demonstrate different aproaches, including Single Plane Illumination Microscopy (SPIM), to study spheroid progression and organization.
