Resumen:
In this work, the validation process of a three-dimensional numerical model of free surface turbulent flow in the physical model of Los Alazanes Dam is reported. In particular, this work focuses on the hydraulic characterization of the discharge chute, the entrance flow and the flow behavior at the end of the spillway in the flow energy dissipation zone.
