Resumen:
Local erosion downstream of hydraulic structures cancompromise their safety. In the case of hydraulics structures with ski jumps,there are few empirical studies and empirical formulas to estimate the maximumdepth of erosion. In view of the uncertainties that still exist in this kind ofphenomenon, it is necessary analyze these problems by means of detailedexperimental techniques. This paper presents an experimental study of localerosion which occurs downstream of low altitude hydraulic structures with skijump dissipater in gravels bed rivers. The experimental results obtained withthe empirical formulas of previous studies are compared.
