Resumen:
The concepts of destiny and interest are very important for comparing the Great Unit ideal of the Chinese Community of Human Destiny and the realism of the international community. Destiny is the main concept of Chinese new international order, and interest is the main aim that the state behavior pursuit in the international community. It can be seen that studying of both terms helps to understand the different visions of Chinese Confucianism and Western political scientists about the international community. Therefore, starting with the analysis of the two concepts, the paper will be divided into three sections. The first section compares Confucius and Machiavelli´s reflection about the concepts of destiny and interest. In the second section, in addition to understanding the main content of the Community of Human Destiny, it is also necessary to know why the Chinese government proposed this initiative at this historical moment. The third section, based on the different thoughts of the two thinkers, evaluates whether the interactions and connections formed by the international community work in accordance with common destiny or common interests.
