Resumen:
The magnetic fields that cause stellar activity, are generated by theinteraction between the convection and stellar rotation (stellardynamo). In cooler stars, convection becomes dominant. It has beenreported that late-type dM stars, even the purely convective ones, present higher levels of activity than those found for the earlieststars. In this article, we present the mean level of activity andvariability of a set of eight dM stars from the observations obtainedunder the HK Project, which operates in the Complejo AstronómicoEl Leoncito (CASLEO) since 1999.
