Resumen:
Since 2009, the Instituto de Astronomia y Fisica del Espacio keeps indevelopment an optical observatory mainly aimed to the detection ofextrasolar planets and the monitoring of stellar activity. In thisframework, the telescopes Meade LX200 16 Horacio Ghielmetti in theComplejo Astronomico El Leoncito, and MATE (Magnetic Activity andTransiting Exoplanets) in the Estación de Altura at theObservatorio Astronomico Felix Aguilar were assembled. Both telescopescan operate automatically through all night, which generates a massivevolume of data. Because of this, it becomes essential the automatizationof the acquisition and analysis of the regular observations as well asthe calibration images; in particular the flat fields. In this work amethod to simplify and automatize the acquisition of these images wasdeveloped. This method uses the luminosity values of the sky, registeredby a weather station located next to the observation site.
