Resumen:
It is common to think that a faithful memory of, for example, an event personally experienced, is a memory that is identical or at least similar to the original representation made at the moment of the experience. In this version of a faithful memory, the rememberer only seems to have one responsibility, which would be in principle considered as a simple epistemic responsibility: to be as accurate as possible and to be sincere with herself. In this presentation, I propose to reconsider this version of a faithful memory and of the kind of responsibility that we have as rememberers. Following the work of Sue Campbell, I defend the idea that to be able to faithfully remember our past also implies a moral responsibility: to include the perspective of the others who also experienced the same event as me.
