The problem: Variation dative form le and (innovative) accusative form lo(la) in combination with verb ?robar?:(1) Fue asaltado por cuatro delincuentes quienes le robaron, lo golpearon y lo ataron. (16/01/2013)(2) Cuando quiso pasar el piquete sindical, fue víctima de los manifestantes que, además de no dejarlo pasar, lo robaron, le pegaron y lo tiraron del puente Avellaneda. Until 1975, such variation did probably not exist.?Mauder (2008:46) makes reference to my comment on variation of clitics in combination with ?robar? but she does not find such variation on her non-journalistic corpus (1960-2000).?Our corpus shows an increase on such variation (from 1996 at 2015).
