Resumen:
In this workshop I will describe the theory of intercultural citizenship in the foreign language classroom (Byram, 2008, 2012, 2014; Byram, Golubeva, Han & Wagner, forthcoming). I will also present its axioms and characteristics and I will address the question of what it involves in practice. I will illustrate with specific cases and student samples. Attendees will leave the workshop with a clear idea of how to implement intercultural citizenship projects in their classrooms.ReferencesByram, M. (2008).
