This chapter describes an intercultural citizenship project in the English as aforeign language classroom (EFL) between Argentina and Italy. It combineslanguage teaching with an intercultural orientation on the one hand and citizenship education on the other. After a general overview of this theory andits relation to global citizenship education, the project is illustrated with student samples, followed by implications for teachers.
