Resumen:
Publicado online en 2016The La Plata-Padova project iswas an online intercultural citizenship project carried out in 2013 between second-year undergraduate students of English at Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina and second-year bachelor´s level degree students in English at Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy. About 100 students participated in Argentina and 75 in Italy. The project addressed the topic of mural art and graffiti and challenged the students to research, analyze and reflect on these forms of expression nowadays. The Argentinean higher education students worked on the citizenship component of the project with secondary school students in La Plata. In Argentina the project was led by Melina Porto and in Italy by Marta Guarda. This chapter is written by the former, the latter not being available for different various reasons, although in all other respects this was a joint project. The joint activity is therefore described on behalf of both groups and their teachers but in the second part of this chapter the emphasis will be on the data analysed from the Argentinean group.
