Resumen:
A single NFX administration to male mice orally (600- 1200 mg/ kg) but not intraperitoneally was able to increase MN formation in bone marrow significantly. No significant increase in MN formation in the bone marrow of mice trated with BZ at dosages up to 2000 mg/ Kg either po or ip was observed. The potential mutagenic risk of NFX treatment in patients suffering from Chagas disease is analyzed.
