Resumen:
Professor Sydney Lamb preaches in favor of a realistic linguistics. Those who are familiar only with his most recent work tend to believe that when Lamb speaks of reality he does it exclusively in relation to the neurological basis of our human linguistic systems. While it is true that neurological plausibility is a central preoccupation in Lamb's current work, that is but one aspect of his concern for reality.
