Resumen:
Based on a previous study of antimutagenic activity of medicinal plants from southern Argentina we have studied the mutagenicity and anti-mutagenicity of essential oils (EOs) obtained from different organs (leaves and fruit) of the species Schinus areira L. (Anacardiaceae), using the Ames test.
