Resumen:
A subset of radiosoundings launched simultaneously from three stations at the NW of Australia are analysed and compared with two occultation profiles from SAC-C satellite. Critical and mixing levels are found near the tropopause, which seems to mainly interact with a large amplitude quasi-steady wave respect to the ground. This wave has an apparent wavelenght between 5 and 6 km and an intrinsic frequency probably high. The potential temperature calculated from occultation profiles does not reveal the presence of the mixing layer.
