Resumen:
Knowledge and Information distribution is indeed one of the main processes in Knowledge Management. Today, most Information Technology tools for supporting information distribution are based on repositories accessed through web-based systems. The limitation of this is that information distribution requires action from end users, so strain is put on users and many of them are not notified of important information on time. Automatic Argumentation has been developed as an automated reasoning technology in recent years, and it can be applied for supporting decisions concerned with Information distribution in an organization, as we explain in this chapter. For self-containment, we include an introduction to basic aspects of argumentation-related technologies.
