Resumen:
blaCTX-M-2-plasmid-harboured like pDCMSR1 are widespread among the multidrug resistant isolates of Enterobacteriaceae, but they were not found in our Acinetobacter baumannii (Ab) population. Although  A118 can maintain the pDCMSR1 plasmid, the ISAba1 upstream the blaampC gene was identified as the favorite mechanism for conferring resistance to third-generation of cephalosporins in Ab.
