Resumen:
   This paper reports a review of the antifungal properties of various plants belonging to the Meliaceae family. It includes the antifungal activity of solids and extracts of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. and Melia azedarach L. with particular stress on the fungi of agronomic interest. Details of the doses used, the mode of action of the vegetable materials, extracts and their active principles where relevant are discussed. Current data about the antifungal activity of other members of Meliaceae, such as Swietenia mahogani, Khaya senegalensis, Toona ciliata and Chisocheton paniculatus are also brought together.
