Resumen:
Coccidiostats are veterinary compounds used for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis, which threaten poultry farming. These compounds can persist in animal tissues after slaughter and therefore can enter the consumer's organsim. In the present work, a multi-residue extraction method based on QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) and a high-performance liquid chromatography method with diode array and fluorescence detection were developed for the simultaneous determination of four coccidiostats, toltrazuril, decoquinate, ethopabate and robenidine, at ppb level in chicken liver.
