Resumen:
Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) is characterized by a significant proportion of people that experience symptoms like allergy which disappear or diminish when leaving the building. The exact causes remain still unknown and the inclusion of lighting into the SBS models deserves more investigation. In such context, the present field study has measured different environment variables and their perception, specially lighting, on 97 urban and rural users. This research work shows data and results in order to contribute to a more holistic model of SBS, which could be useful to architects and designers interested in meeting the needs of users.
