Resumen:
The work presented in this paper is an experimental effort to study the influence of a continuous (DC) electrical discharge on the flow over a flat plate A specificity of this study lies first in the flow conditions: supersonic and rarefied. The velocity is 530 m/s and the Knudsen number based on the flat plate is 0.0026. The discharge is created above the model by means of two aluminum strips glued on the model itself.
