Resumen:
Humanin (HN) is a mitochondrial-derivedpeptidewithpotentcytoprotective effect in many celltypes. Administration of HN hasbeen proposed as a therapeuticapproach for several chronicdiseases. Although HN has beenshown to protect normal tissuesagainst the toxic effects ofchemotherapy, its role in tumorchemoresistanceispoorlyunderstood. We aimed to evaluatewhether HN affects the sensitivityof GBM cells to chemotherapy.
