Resumen:
Several reported studies have shown that metal oxides and supported metal oxides can be efficient for the catalytic ozonation of a vast range of organic contaminants. However, few studies evaluate the performance of perovskites as ozonation catalysts. High activity of perovskite LaTi0.15Cu0.85O3 was verified in the ozonation of phenolic wastewaters [1]. More recently, LaTi0.15Cu0.85O3 and LaTi0.15Co0.85O3 were tested in the ozonation of sulfamethoxazole [2]. The main goal of this work is to study the ozonation of selected organic pollutants in the presence of La-containing perovskites.
