Resumen:
Four copper samples belonging to the coating of wooden hulls of warships of the late eighteenth century and early nineteenth century were studied by neutron activation analysis technique. This technique was chosen because a trace element analysis (specifically arsenic and antimony quantification) was needed and couldn´t be performed successfully by other methods. This work was requested by the archaeometallurgy group of Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina.
