Resumen:
The purpose of this work
was to find out the in service tertiary and university trainers of trainers
physics attitudes toward specific active learning strategies in physics
presented in a constructive teacher training workshop developed based on the
results of educational research in physics education. Descriptive case study
was chosen since there is not a theory on attitudes toward these strategies. We
applied content analysis of written evidence. The research was conducted on
samples of participants in two consecutive years. The same strategies were
given but with different topics. The cognitive development in graduate and
undergraduate students because of the active learning strategies has been
mainly investigated, but little research has been done on attitudes toward them
of in service teachers. The results of this research could be useful to those
who design teacher training programs in active learning of physics they suggest
that teachers attending the workshop positively valued active learning
strategies. This is the first step in a process of transformation of
educational practice
