Resumen:
We study orthogonal wavelet vectors, multiresolution analysis andscaling vectors in a separable Hilbert space, associated with a pairof unitary operators. Refinement equations, decomposition andreconstruction algorithms and filters are revisited in this abstractsetting. We characterize the orthogonal wavelet vectors that can beobtained from a given multiresolution analysis with a scalingvector. Unitary parametrization and equivalence of multiresolutionanalysis are considered.
