We present a brief report of the Workshop 4th Regional South Cone Workshop on the Active Learning of Physics: Thermodynamics and fluids (AATyF - Cordoba 2011), and the 4th Regional South Cone Conference on the Active Learning of Physics (CRAAF-4), aimed at teacher’s trainers in physics working in the South Cone of Latin America. The activities were held in La Falda, Córdoba, Argentina from May 22 to May 27, 2011. The workshop, designed as Autumn School for Physics trainers of trainers in the Southern Cone of Latin America, was focused this year on the use of different active learning teaching strategies in the areas of thermodynamics and fluids.
