Enhancing energy harvesting by coupling monostable systems

We study how to optimize the performance of a model oscillator proposed as energy harvester of mesoscopic fluctuations through piezoelectric transduction. We consider it submitted to an Orstein-Uhlenbeck noise and under the effect of different potential shapes. We study the effect of linear coupling between units, focusing in the negative or counter-phase configuration and analyze the optimal number of oscillators that increases the performance of the system.
