Effects of large extra dimensions on cosmogenic neutrino fluxes

We study the efects of large extra dimensions (LED) on different predictions for the cosmogenic neutrino flux that would be incident on Earth under the assumption that the UHECR composition is dominated by protons. The main effect of LED models on the neutrino flux as they propagate through Earth comes from the exchange of virtual Kaluza-Klein gravitons. This processes can be responsible for a significant increase in the cross section, especially for M_D around 5 TeV, and this allows us to estimate an increased number of showers in comparison to the standard expectation.
