The objective of this study is to conduct a critical review of the main instruments of political management of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) generated in Argentina in recent years, noting continuities and ruptures over the conceptions that guided planning in sector policy in previous years. To do this, the main changes in the design of recent policies are described, emphasizing those aspects and instruments adopted to promote public-private linkage oriented to product innovation and social development. Finally, it develops a brief reflection on the contributions and limitations of one of the most representative components of the recent CTI Argentina policy such as Sectoral Funds.
