Mariana Schweitzer Magister en Planificación Urbana y Regional - UBA Investigadora CONICET-CEUR Profesora Adjunta Universidad de Buenos Aires maschw@fadu.uba.ar   Resumen El puente Rosario-Victoria, inaugurado en el 2003, fue planteado para integrar el Corredor Bioceánico Central como alternativa a los cruces existentes sobre el Río Paraná, el puente Zárate-Brazo Largo y el túnel Subfluvial Hernandarias. Vincula dos ciudades muy asimétricas en cuanto a sus dimensiones y complejidad funcional. El presente trabajo visualiza y evalúa los efectos de este nuevo enlace, potenciados por la disminución del tiempo de viaje entre ambas cabeceras, tanto sobre el sistema de transporte regional, como también en el desarrollo urbano de la ciudad de Victoria, que está recibiendo un conjunto de actividades relacionadas con la expansión de la actividad turística  con características y localización diferenciales en correspondencia con procesos de jerarquización espacial.   Abstract The bridge Rosario-Victoria inaugurated in 2003, was designed to integrate the bio-oceanic central corridor as alternative to the existing crossing on the Parana river, the Zarate-Brazo Largo Bridge and the Hernandarias underwater tunnel. It links two very asymmetric cities respect their size and functional complexities.     This paper identifies and evaluates the effects of this new link, regarding the reduction of the travel time between the two cities, related to the regional transportation system so as to the urban development of Victoria city.
